The Columbia Trust Retail Center is located at the corner of Emerald Street and Rifleman Street in Boise, Idaho.  Erickson Civil provided civil engineering services for the development site work, drainage, and utility design.  The project includes a restaurant drive-thru with five separate tenant shop spaces.  Stormwater drainage was retained onsite in underground infiltration galleries and was pre-treated for sand and grease using Best Management Practices.  Special match conditions existed along the westerly line of the property where the development connects to the adjacent restaurant development.  Detailed grading analysis was required to determine the “best” finished floor elevation for the new building to minimize costs, provide adequate grades, and match the adjacent user’s existing improvements.
