Overland Road - Hydrologic and Hydraulic Study
Meridian, ID

Civil engineering tasks included services to investigate storm water disposal needs including calculation of conceptual level peak runoff rates, flow volumes, and a detention pond analysis.  ACHD had an existing detention pond located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Overland and Meridian Roads.  Calculations were prepared to assess the existing pond capacity and the additional storage requirements based on the construction of the Overland and Meridian Road improvements.  The project was coordinated with the Nampa Meridian Irrigation District.  In addition, analysis was prepared and recommendations were provided to establish the conceptual needs for a stormwater storage facility located at Linder Road and I-84.  The pond tributary area was established utilizing field work, GIS mapping, modeling and working plans provided by ACHD for the intersection.
