Erickson Civil has worked with Primary Health on several projects across the Treasure Valley including the State Street urgent care facility in Boise, Idaho. Civil engineering services were provided beginning with site planning and project entitlements through the City of Boise and continued through construction document preparation and construction administration. The project site is approximately 1.4 acres and includes the Primary Health facility and appurtenant site features. Erickson Civil provided the civil engineering design for the project including utility services, grading and drainage, and sediment and erosion control. The site is typical for the area in that ground water levels are relatively shallow presenting challenges for conventional storm water retention designs. Further, there’s a subsurface contamination plume located near the southeast corner of the site further limiting the available area for storm water storage. Erickson Civil developed a grading and drainage plan for the site that conveys all storm water to a single location on the site to address the site limitations and decreased the overall construction and long term maintenance costs for the system.
