SWPPP / Erosion & Sediment Control
Southern Idaho

Erickson Civil understands local and national requirements for Stormwater Pollution Prevention Planning (SWPPP) and routinely prepares plans for projects completed by our firm.  The EPA's Construction General Permit for storm water discharges is continuously being updated and our firm stays on top of updates to be sure our clients are covered under the Construction General Permit with the minimal exposure possible.  Our typical SWPPP plan preparation includes a site investigation to identify existing site improvements and natural features as well as the site topography.  Our staff consults with the United States Department of Fish and Wildlife as well as the local Fish & Game jurisdiction to make a determination regarding impact to species listed as threatened or endangered.  Consultation also occurs with the State Historical Preservation Society to make a determination of impact to any historical features that could be potentially be impacted or require protection on your site.  A Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan is prepared and assembled once our staff gains a complete understanding of your site.  Plans typically include a narrative with stormwater Best Management Practices identified for the site, and a series of prepared forms that can be used to implement and document plan management.
